Superdrug shoppers buy affordable blonde hair products ‘better than Olaplex’

Being a bleach blonde is a big commitment. And it can also be quite expensive if you want to keep brassy at bay, touch up your roots, and keep your hair looking healthy. And now, there are dozens of repair products on the market, but they’re also not without salon-worthy prices.

Going blonde is a journey that puts your hair under extreme stress which, when also exposed to heat and repeated dyeing, can leave it dry, dull and brittle.

But Superdrug shoppers have been able to get their hands on an affordable haircare line specifically for blondes – and customers say it’s better than leading brand Olaplex.

the Blonde Plex Revolution Range launched in stores and online at Superdrug this month, and promises “brighter blonde with less breakage”.

Revolution said: “Say goodbye to dry, damaged hair with the Bond Plex range, expertly formulated to target different layers of the hair fiber, helping to restore and strengthen damage from within. And just for bleached and highlighted blonde hair, unlock your best hair with all the benefits of our best-selling range combined with Color Enhance technology – brighter blonde, less breakage!’

These types of products help rebuild the bonds in the hair that has been damaged during bleaching, helping to rebuild the strength and integrity of the hair.

The Revolution Haircare Blonde Plex range is now available from Superdrug

the Revolution Haircare Blonde Plex Range offers four products that aim to repair hair and make it look blonder and healthier. Prices start from £10 for shampoo, conditioner and styling cream, while the restoration treatment is £15.

Cruelty-free, vegan and packaged in 50% post-consumer recycled plastic, the range is also SLS and SLES free, both of which can irritate the skin.

Revolution recommends using blonde plex 3 a Bond Restore Treatment on damp hair as a pre-shampoo before continuing with the shampoo and conditioner . Your last step is Blond Plex 6, which is a leave-in styler to help protect color and heat, reduce frizz and repair hair.
